    intersting Herman Cornejo surpassed Julie Kent as highest paid dancer. Wonder how that came about. I’m surprised he makes more than Paloma and Marcelo since they’ve both been there longer and seem to dance more shows (maybe not Paloma anymore).

    Hi m&m.
    I’m glad to see Herman at the top, too. It’s possible that other higher-paid dancers are on a pay per performance contract as opposed to being bonafide employees, which would explain why they don’t show up on the 990.
    It is absurd that ABT reported that Julie Kent worked an average of 40 hours per week over the year for her $170+K. (Section VII) Talk about a significant misstatement made to the IRS. Herman is shown as working 40 hrs per week also, but since he’s underpaid, no one should care. Julie, on the other hand ….

    Just want to clarify for everyone that the most recent salary information available via Form 990 filings by ABT covers the 2012 tax year. We don’t yet know what went on during 2013 or what is going on this year, and that includes who the highest paid dancer/employee is.
