The Segerstrom Center for the Arts in LA announced yesterday that Diana Vishneva will present a world premiere program November 3-6 entitled Madame X. Marcelo Gomes will either be her Ricardo Montalban or John Forsythe – maybe both, you just never know. Bernice Coppieters of Les Ballet de Monte Carlo and members of the Mariinsky will also star.
Murder, alcohol, blackmail, men-you-want-but-shouldn't-have, heartbreak, downfall – in short, perfect ballet material.
