Last week, Haglund alerted you to this Gala upcoming on September 17. Tickets are now on sale at City Center. Prices begin at $25 for extreme sides of the balcony and then jump to $50-$120. The performance coincides with The Year of Italian Culture in the United States.
We still don't know which of Roberto's Friends he is bringing with him. Haglund would love to see those Bubenícek twins, but since this is connected to a celebration of Italian culture, we should perhaps expect something more apropos/appropriato.
Roberto has a very wide and very interesting circle of friends that keeps growing. Maybe an old friend (old as in BFF) will show up in some capacity since she will already be in the 'hood preparing for the sure-to-be-brilliant premiere of Martha Clarke's Chéri at Signature Theatre.
