On Haglund’s Calendar – NYCB 2/11 matinee

Rebecca Krohn 1Here's hoping that the Saturday matinee casting for Concerto Barocco sticks.  Beautiful, talented, and captivating Rebecca Krohn, pictured here on the Spring Season brochure, is scheduled to debut.  She is, of course, one of Haglund's favorite ballerinas.  (Click on the picture for a larger version.)

At that same performance, Sterling Hyltin will debut in Tarantella, and Janie Taylor will debut in Vienna Waltzes.

Come one, come all, Folks.

Sounds heavenly…wish I could be more familiar with NYCB. For all the gripes I have against ABT, they at least tour out here 1-2 times a year.

True. But you can occasionally get up to San Francisco Ballet, can’t you? They have some superb programing. Wouldn’t the distance be about like the trips we make to DC from NYC?

Yep! Hopefully I’ll swing up sometime this spring, they have an all Balanchine program I have my eye on. One always wants what they can’t have, though I realize I am spoiled in comparison to many parts of the country.
