Argentina offered Julio Bocca the job of Minister of Culture and Director of Teatro Colón after the current minister resigned. Julio declined and said that he was not yet prepared to run a theater in general. When asked if he would consider taking that direction in the future, Julio said that he would not rule it out. Julio's options are only going to expand.

Is your CATS tee-shirt from the 1980s on its last threads?
When it started to fray, did you cut out the neck and sleeves and wear it in ballet class? Then when the little yellow eyes started to fade and could no longer sustain washing, did you cut it up for dust cloths and car wash rags?
Well, it's time to get a new CATS tee-shirt. In one week, CATS returns to Broadway; and we know that once it gets back here, it will stick around like a tom hovering outside a cloistered cat crazy in heat.
Not only is CATS returning to Broadway, but New York City Ballet soloist Georgina Pazcoguin will star as Victoria, the otherwise innocent kitten who launches into a mating dance that would make Garfield blush.

I loved Cats! So great to hear and thanks for sharing Haglund! 🙂 Believe it or not I actually kept the shirt I bought and had the original cast sign it…and it is still in a bag carefully kept, maybe I can bring it back to have the new cast sign the back now :)I wonder if they kept any of the original set to put back in, I do recall they were selling off quite a bit when they closed?

Looking forward to the return of Cats and with an NYCB member, it will be even better! Interesting how so many City Ballet dancers are branching out into Broadway lately.
