She was phenomenal! It was totally worth driving through the flood for. Lisa Macuja a retired prima ballerina came and had positive comments on instagram.James was good but not very impressive. Must be the jetlag. I hope she gets to dance Giselle in ABT too.

Harold, thank you! You are the envy of many here in the U.S. for having had the opportunity to see this performance.
And thank you for alerting us to the new pictures on Facebook. Here’s the link:

hi haglund, don’t know if you heard about this ‘world ballet day’ in which 5 of the world’s leading ballet companies (national ballet of canada, royal ballet, bolshoi, australian ballet, and san francisco ballet) are participating in a 24hr livestream (trailer is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHSYBwtroXw&list=UUHS5XKgf2FCBF8pZllE_bjw). interesting that the the american participant is SF and not ABT?

Hi “g”. Thanks so much for this reminder. This definitely will be a worthwhile investment of time for those who are able to commit to watching it.
SF Ballet will be broadcasting the entire day’s events on their YouTube channel.
The choice of SFB doesn’t surprise me, nor does the exclusion of ABT.
