How do you attract kids to ballet?

PUPPIES!

A Bloomington, Illinois Vaganova teacher has set up a dog rescue organization right in her ballet studio. In today's edition of Bloomington's Pantagraph.com, there is proof that a small population of puppies can guarantee good attendance at Michelle Holmes-Bello's USA Ballet Academy. Holmes-Bello rescues puppies, older dogs with shorter horizons, and dogs on a shelter's death row, and then places them in foster homes until permanent homes can be found.

Oh yeah, way better than candy.
