The 32-member Columbia Classical Ballet completely lost its home in the 1,000 year flood that hit South Carolina last week.
Artistic Director Radenko Pavlovich told NPR that the facility was a total loss and that insurance may only cover around 50% of the half million dollar re-construction of the Pavlovich Ballet School building which houses the company's operations.
During the flooding, the water reached the ceiling of the studio. When they went back in, they found snakes there. SNAKES.
