Runs October 25th to November 30th at KC and stars Tiler Peck as young Marie. We're still waiting to hear which Broadway theater will host the show. The Vivian Beaumont Theater at Lincoln Center seems to be rather unscheduled until March when The King and I, with choreography by Jerome Robbins, opens. Simple speculation.

Doesn’t this mean that both Tiler Peck and Robert Fairchild (star of Wheeldon’s upcoming Broadway show “An American inn Paris”) will be out for most if not all of the 2014-15 NYCB season? That would be a huge disappointment, at least in this quarter, although it would open up exciting casting possibilities for younger dancers in the company. But wow: both halves of this newlywed ballet couple in starring roles on the Great White Way, and more or less simultaneously? That’d be something!!
Still, I’d rather see them dancing in the NYCB rep. Oh well.

Hi John. Thanks for stopping by H.H.
I imagine that both dancers will be gone quite a bit, but whether they miss the whole season – we’ll just have to wait and see. Fairchild’s sister, Megan, is also on Broadway this fall in On the Town. Unbelievable. What do you think the chances are for some NYCB dancer to grab a Tony Award for this coming season?
True, the three of them will be missed in the NYCB performances, but there are soloists ready to move up into bigger challenges. It will be an exciting year for everyone.
